Ana-Karina Allen

Ana-Karina has over 15 years of professional experience in the Fashion and Publishing industries, having started in Broadcasting then moving across to Publishing, working primarily in the commercial team of numerous successful titles such as Harper’s Bazaar , Esquire, Big Black Book, Town & Country and Perfect Wedding.

 Most recently Ana-Karina was the Watch & Jewellery  Ad Director at Net-A-Porter, responsible for managing and overseeing all advertising  activities for the watch and jewellery category product division.

 Ana-Karina has academic qualifications in Journalism, Fashion Buying & Merchandising and a MSc on Strategic Marketing and Luxury Brand Management.

Jo Glynn-Smith
Jo Glynn-Smith has 20 years of experience working in the fashion industry, she is currently UK Marketing Director for one of the world’s largest jewellery brands, joining the business in 2016. She is responsible for digital, brand and retail marketing as well as PR, events, commercial VM and e-commerce. Prior to that, she worked at Harper’s Bazaar as Commercial Editor, helping land initiatives such as Bazaar at Work and Bazaar Women of the Year.  As a retail consultant, she advised global brands including Harrods, Hugo Boss, Swarovski and Stella McCartney on a number of revenue focused projects from staff confidence and selling skills to trends and styling. Jo is also an experienced public speaker, writer and presenter.
Henry Ashton Crosby

Ashton has over 15 years of experience as an investor, investment banker, operator and entrepreneur across the food service and consumer/retail sectors in Europe, the US, Latin America and Asia.

He is currently Managing Director / Co-Founder of Capdesia, a Europe focused restaurant private equity fund.
He was previously Investment Director at True Capital, a European mid-market consumer/retail private equity firm. Prior to True, Ashton worked at Tesco in Business Development and before that was an investment banker with Nomura’s EMEA Consumer/Retail M&A team in London.
He started his career at Citibank and BGC Partners/Cantor Fitzgerald in New York and Hong Kong. During this time he also helped launch two consumer/retail businesses.

Janka Vazanova
Janka Vazanova is an experienced Private Equity investor.  She graduated with an MBA from Washington University St. Louis and worked with the Slovak American Enterprise Fund during her school years. In 1997, Janka joined Doughty Hanson, an elite European private equity house. At Doughty Hanson, Janka started as a deal analyst and progressed to become a Senior Principal and a Member of the Investment Committee. During her years at Doughty Hanson, she was responsible for sourcing and executing deals with an equity size ranging from £100m to £250m.  She had a particular focus on the fashion and food industries, and sat on a number of boards, including RHM and TUMI, where she worked with top management to execute the strategic plans. Following her departure, she initiated and executed 3 smaller investments in growth companies with various groups of investors. At present, she works closely with those 3 companies to realize their full potential.
